Well, they could have mistaken the Mark 17 for the IP suit or they could have seen a polybag or something that hasn't been revealed to us yet.

I really hope it's the second one.

I haven't seen one movie site yet that has been 100% correct with LEGO when they try and get movie spoilers out of the contents of LEGO sets. It's like that Yahoo UK movies site which said the Spider-Man sets were from the Amazing Spider-Man movie last year. I seriously doubt a movie site had info on an Iron Patriot fig way back in February when noone from the LEGO community did, and the first time we're really seeing the possibility of this fig is two months after the report.

So there's still hope for another Iron Man 3 set :D But I wouldn't trust it, per what I said about movie sites above

No more hope than there was before for me. LEGO never knows what they are talking about because the people who do aren't usually allowed to talk. :P

Seems Iron Patriot is indeed a pre-order for the game. I'm glad, because I want the full set of armors, but screw the Patriot, War Machine is better.

First post updated. What do you guys think of this year's figs? To be honest, I'm not as jealous as I was last year. Spiderwoman to me looks strange (but that's not LEGO's fault) and I don't know much (well, anything really) about her, Black Suit Spiderman looks great, but I've basically got those pieces already, except I'll have to deal with some other symbol instead of an "S", Alternate Spider-Man looks amazing, much better than the one we have, but again, I can live with that. The only one I really want is the Green Arrow.

Also, USA Today, who originally posted the images says:

Other superheroes will be on hand at the LEGO booth as well as displays of new and upcoming LEGO construction sets.

Whether that means 2014 Super Heroes sets, or just 2014 sets I guess depends on how you read it. At least is confirms we'll see 2014 stuff, even though that was extremely obvious

Same. :P I do think that they did a very good job with Spider-Woman though, despite the odd design in the first place, but I don't want her.

Edit: The good thing about Green Arrow though is that he has had a plethora of costumes over the years, he is like the Batman of the B-listers, so it doesn't really count him out, just this design (though I do think it is one of the better ones, unfortunately).

Edit 2: Variations is probably more accurate than costumes.

It's been pointed out on EB that the Spider-Man based on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit (I actually thought it was familiar, so I looked it up, but I was comparing it to the suit in the first movie so dismissed it as me imagining things :P). So it's unlikely we'll get sets based on the film.

@ErkelonJay- pretty sure there's going to be a new level, since they've just announced Sabretooth, it's likely we'll see a new level with him in it.

That's good to know, I was worried I wasn't going to get one of him (all I know about the Green Arrow is pretty much limited to Arrow :P)
