</p><p>I've not been able to be around as much as I'd have liked to over the last few weeks. But I should be back now, and keen to see how things are going here :)
</p><p>Now that the fork has taken place, it's time to look to the future of this wiki.
</p><p>A while back, I posted some forking guidelines. I've seen that since the fork, there have been some recruiting via talk pages, and some [deliberate vandalism aimed at damaging this wiki (see the edit summary). I've banned both of these editors - admins, please don't unban without us talking about it first. (Darth henry, I assume that you protecting the vandalized version was a mistake, yes?)
</p><p>There are also ongoing conversations that need to move to the other wiki now. Blogs, forums, chat, and talk pages here should be <i>about</i> here. That's not to say they never mention other sites of course, but they also shouldn't be <i>for</i> other sites. And that includes comments trying to persuade remaining and future users to move.
</p><p>I know there are a few other issues, including links in signatures, and possibly elsewhere - but hopefully we can clear those up over time.
</p><p>I'm glad to see that there are some of you who have decided to stay here, and I'm ready to help you in any way I can. I suspect it's going to take a while for things to settle down overall, but this is a great wiki, and I'm confident it can recover and thrive.

<p>Yes, the wiki will need new admins. It won't be immediately, the wiki needs to settle down first, but the best way for a wiki to revive after a fork is for it to have dedicated admins who are not involved in the other wiki. </p><p>So for anyone who is staying, and interested in becoming one of those admins - my advice is to keep editing, look at Special:WikiActivity or Special:RecentChanges regularly to find and fix problem edits, and make sure you get involved in conversations on the wiki - especially with new editors and those who are also staying :) </p> </div> <p>I'm definitely interested. <p>If you want every wiki on Wikia to be as happy as possible, then how come you get mad when we help them fork? Especially when it's their decision. </p><p>I know the position you're in, Sannse, but you can't say that you don't have a conflict of interest. </p>

<p>@Sannse: We want to be distinctive, but changing the name of the fork will not work. It is nostalgic to our users and changing it will make us feel bad. Also, we made the name. (Or at least Darth Smith did.) The new community will be mostly made of people who weren't here before, so it would make more sense. LEGO Wiki does sound boring, but I'm sure you can make a new name, like... Brickia?
