Sure I like the blue, but I think if they make the minifigure in blue version, it would look just like the old variant, but with CHEEKBONES! At least they would be changing the color (and the face).
But now that I think of it, they did make a black Batman suit and also a black Super Heroes version. Ugh, I'm getting no where with this.
My favorite color is red, that's why. There!
I doubt they will, if they do, great, but from the looks of things they are following a timeline. Tim drake is the Robin and the Black suit Batman was the one he wore in the 90s (while Drake was Robin), Jason Todd was still thought dead at this point and Dick Grayson was Nightwing. Barbara Gordon was Oracle at this point as well (as The Killing Joke happens before Death in The Family). That would also explain why Batman had the blue and grey suit in 3 of the 2012 sets. If you're a comic book extreme like me (legit, not trying to sound braggy even though that kinda did), you'd kind of understand how it's working.
I want red because i feel it looks great, i have the other nightwing, so, if i was asked which one i would rather hav if i didnt hve any, i would choose blue, but i feel red for the new version would go great, or at least one set with blue and one with red
Lego REALLY needs to change the box art for the Super hero's sets. I just don't like the drawn minifigures in the corner, they should use non-fiction images the same say they use with Star Wars, LOTR, Hobbit, Lone Ranger.. etc.
