<p>They can't. They must sign a contract with SONY (SONY owns Spider-Man movies) first and I doubt Lego would want to go through all the trouble. </p>

<p>Actually, you're both wrong. Marvel/Disney recently made a deal with Sony. The deal was that Marvel/Disney got the merchandising rights to Spider-Man(And, something else was said, but I forgot). And how do you think this SDCC Comic-Con Exclusive was made? They did this illegally? No. They could've made some EPIC sets. I mean, have you seen the trailer? I have an idea for, like, 8 sets already. But for some reason, they wasted it on some Comic-Con Exclusive. Go figure. </p>

<p>LEGO Takes 1 1/2 years to design sets. I'm guessing that they got the rights too late, and they could only make the SDCC figure. They'll probably make sets for the rest, though. </p>
