<p>Characteristics </p><p>The Imperial Assault (IAT) tank was designed to be an upgraded variant to the Armored Assault Tank (AAT) with more Firepower, and more durability than the AAT. </p><p>
History </p><p>The tank was designed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems at some point prior to the Clone Wars. The plans were being made on Mustafar. However, a fallen Jedi named Anakin Skywalker (Later known as Darth Vader) Assassinated the Separatists leaders, and had a duel with Obi wan. When Palpatine came to Mustafar in order to save Vader, The plans for the tank were recovered by imperial Shock trooper and were studied by Imperial scientists. </p><p>The tank was built by the empire to tests it's firepower and abilities, the tank proved to be more powerful than the AAT. It was put into production by the Empire, and is now being used by the Imperial army. </p><p>Production information </p><p>
