The evidence is that because of the many universes in the game are connected together like a normal multiverse, Lego Dimensions is in its own multiverse.

Also, it exists in the lego movie universe of the Warner bros. Multiverse but later became its own multiverse with the video game universes of the licensed themes and the lego original themes are actually in the lego movie universe.
