Because in order to get them “for free” you have to pay to go to Comic con, pay to enter a raffle and actually win one of the very few sets or minifigures.

My point about the Batman set still stands because as far as I’m aware. The Batman figure is the exact same as everything else and there are no exclusive pieces as far as I’m aware, there is also very little playability which defeats the purpose of what toys are all about. You only defended the first point and ignored my second point.

There are some sets that are not meant as a “toy” as much as a “collectors set” such as the Batman SDCC Set. They still require for you to pay to enter SDCC and the raffle while also winning it, like I said before. The set has at least one exclusive part that I know of which is the 80 years printed piece.
