It’s an intriguing idea, though I’m not sure what they’d do in such a series. And the Tolkien estate might not be up for the idea.

A lego LoTR series would help bring kids to love Lord of the Rings, and help them understand what makes JRR Toilkien's trilogy such a masterpiece.

So far the closest we have is the cutscenes for the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit games, but they were very well done.
