Since the release of LEGO The Hobbit: The Video Game, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the concluding Hobbit movie in a DLC format, announced via a press release back at the game's release. However, as of a few days ago (this petition was created on March 17th, 2015), fans have been surprised with the shocking announcement that the release of this DLC has been cancelled. This was announced on a quote to GameSpot. The original WB statement is as follows:

"The Lego: The Hobbit video game gives Lego and Middle-earth fans a fun, new way to experience the legendary adventures of Bilbo and company as told in the first two films of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy," the publisher said in a statement. "The game provides an excellent set-up for the concluding chapter of Peter Jackson's film, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. There are no plans to develop DLC based on the final film of the trilogy."

Speaking personally for a moment, I did not purchase the game on its release, and I still have not picked up a copy. I've watched walkthroughs on Youtube for the complete game, but early on I decided that I would not be purchasing this game until the final DLC was released. That way when I would finally play it, it would seem more meaningful as the conclusion to the series. With the update recently, I was, and am still, very pissed off.

I urge fans of this game who have been waiting for the release of this DLC, as well as anyone else reading this petition, to sign this petition, and show WB that fans are upset by this sudden announcement. Show your support.
