<p>Is the Middle-earth line really discontinued? It's possible that the sales have been decreasing, but given the massive support for the theme it's weird that TLG would let something like that go without even doing Minas Tirith. Maybe Ideas/Cuusoo will help. </p>

Does anyone else think that Smaug's wings look like they are hinged so they can fold inwards like in the movie?

I've never understood why the Hero Factory names are capitalized.

<p>So do I. Then again, the lighting on the box art may be different or the colour has been revamped like the old grey colour. </p>

<p>Once they've released sets from each film they might make sets based on the bits missed out, like Roast Mutton and Edoras </p>

I think it's from Prince of Persia on the arch pieces as well

Doesn't he look just so awesome? Looks like LEGO are going for a better dragon design this time, looks great!

<p>Good to see that LEGO will be continuing with more Dol Guldur and Lake-town buildings; they never really did that in anything else asides Harry Potter (or LOTR if you count Helm's Deep). That's a really good set listing Brunito's, I hope we get something along the lines of this! </p>

<p>My guess is the first one will be a part of the Battle of Five Armies. The second is the Dwarven windlance (New dwarves and Tauriel!) and the last is, well, Smaug! As long as we get Smaug I'm happy! </p>

<p>A similar open-world to LOTR; but with editions to Eregion so it can lead to the High Pass and over, instead of going south. Maybe the whole of Middle-earth could be included, but I doubt it. </p>

<p>Btw, on Smaug colour- if anyone was thinking Smaug should have been blue in DoS, he's not; that's just from his hibernation. There's been some hoo-hah over that so I just wanted to clear it up! </p>

<p>I found this on Bricklink; it's the 6325 'Package Pick Up' from 1998, I think it was from World City. </p>

<p>The dragon I would model Smaug in LEGO form would be a Creator style dragon, perhaps. It can hold the best amount of detail to justify Smaug's character, and as it's brick-built, it would be the perfect medium between the Ninjago and Castle dragons. </p>
