He is, they're looking for more.
I'd be OK with DocDoom2 and RaceLord. While it is good you have experience elsewhere, DC Comic Nerd, more than 4 edits locally are needed from my perspective to have an understanding of the community here required to be an admin.
That's a really silly argument. On a wiki, there is no limit to the number of elected administrators that can be had. As such, there is usually a threshold of support required to become an administrator - the usual number is 75-80%. On a wiki where the average RfA (pre-move) had about 15 votes, 1 vote can make the difference in cases which aren't clear-cut. That a candidate would nominate themselves, or accept the nomination, is proof enough of their willingness and confidence.
To compare administrators to politicians is also a bit problematic. Politicians can vote for themselves because they are citizens too, and with millions of people it won't make much of a difference. That one vote will never be the difference between being the president and not. On the other hand, being able to vote for yourself here could make all the difference, due to a small electorate.

I believe there are still wonderful users on this wiki who would love to help! I believe that some good leaders can help this wiki reach its full potential and I desire to be one of those users!
With your 1 contribution to the encyclopedia here? lol...
There's always the fact that the block did nothing - it was purely for punishment, since it didn't in any way prevent further abuse in the future. Berrybrick is no longer an admin, so he can't edit the css file any more.
The logic of not letting admins remain admins here because this isn't their primary focus is very poor. Inactive admins obviously didn't put this site as a priority, nor did quite a few others with commitments elsewhere (myself included). That doesn't mean that we cannot use our rights properly or want to still help keep the "Brickipedia" name from meaning a site full of spam and vandalism.
I think what we had already established beforehand... 100ms edit requirement for voting, 75-80% to pass.
That's pretty awesome!
Yeah, look at the topic below.
Definitely keep the 100ms edit requirement for voting for admins - they are content-controllers, so people voting for them should have some experience with what content actually is here.
I also do like 80%, though I would be willing to put it down to 75%. Definitely not a simple majority - 50% is not a strong enough mandate from the community for promotion.
I don't mind self nominations or not, but candidates definitely need to accept the nomination before the voting starts.
I actually quite liked it (and I usually hate that type of game). Maybe it was because I wanted to like it after LU was closed, and also that I only played max 30 minutes a day.
Nice to see it will be free to play, though. They obviously don't want to repeat the errors of LU.
