I'd rather have Jack Kirby (I feel like he did more work) but Stan would be cool too. We have a Peter Jackson cameo, so why not? :P

No, because it was based off of another movie based on a book which featured a dragon? Or am I missing something?
it's just smaug is also brown
A lot of dragons are brown.
He's my guess too. Wolverine, Storm, and Cyclops vs. Magneto and Sabretooth or Mystique?
They (no pictures) were posted on a toyshop's website. They seem to be based on Guardians of the Galaxy, not X-men.
I thought that it worked for the Spider Queen, but not Scorm. It's not like this show has very good voice acting though....
The mask is weird, but it'll be good for a Hawkgirl custom. :P I already have the Wolverine from 6866, so I'm looking forward to another variation.

SPOILERS:
The spiders, scorpions, and bats are all working together, but each tribe also has their own leader. Spinlyn, Scorm, and Braptor seem to agree that one of them should be the grand leader (or something like that) but can't decide which. They each think that they have the mandate of heaven/divine right to rule from a Legend Beast of their own respective tribe.
Wheres the link to that episode you watched?

It looks like they are including Batman in a set with seven other figures and we only know what five of them are. One could be GL. *shrug*
That's adding a small thing to a game, not increasing the size of an already large toyline and messing up their schedule. If they are going to do it, they will and a little push will have no effect if they won't. However, it ultimately it boils down to what Disney wants them to do. LEGO doesn't have as much freedom here as it does with City or Castle. Disney has to approve everything, always gets the last word, and can have the first if they want it.
I really don't care if we get sets based on the movie or not, to be honest. I couldn't stand the first movie, so I'm not really on board for the next 3+. Besides, the USM sets, as mediocre as they usually are, have much more potential than movie ones. I'd rather have Iron Fist, Nick Fury, Venom, and Dr. Doom than Lizard, Rhino, and Gwen Stacey.
Magneto wore that costume in the comics a few decades ago, so no, it isn't movie-based.
It's too late. :P They like to take around a year and a half with the design process when they can, more if possible (which is why movie sets often end up being so inaccurate in most cases).
Besides, they would compete with the USM sets (why do you think one of them comes with Electro?) and Marvel is already getting more than 7 sets this year.

Actually, no it was from the ASM2, but like I said Lego would have needed permission and a contract would have been signed.
It would just have to be added to their contract with Disney though. It's possible to be included once the contract is renewed (purportedly at the end of 2014) so maybe there will be sets for ASM3. :P It probably comes down to what Disney wants.

I'm gonna sue LEGO, or better yet, send a COMPLAINT.
You should totally sue them. They deserve to be taught a lesson. Corporeal justice will be served.
If they haven't shown up by now, they are probably being withheld until March. TRU might get them in February, if we're lucky.

Really? Why? If you don't mind me asking?
Because it's more than just the licenses. They are a big help, I think that LEGO would have been bought by Hasbro or Disney or whoever if it wasn't for Star Wars, but LEGO just has a much larger presence than Mega Bloks. In business, presence is everything. If nobody knows or sees your product, then nobody will buy it. LEGO is a big part of pop culture at the moment, and has been for the last 10 years or so.
Man-Bat and Riddler are up on S@H for the US now. I guess that Penguin and Joker will show up in March.
Batgirl.... :'(

Aside from brand recognition, more shelf space, superior quality, and better marketing, of course. But let's be honest, what do those have to do with selling anything these days?
More minifigure prints. :P
I started to type out a sarcastic answer to play along, but you're probably right to a good degree. :P
Who's right? Me or ErkelonJay?
Jay, as I was replying to him.
Though having licenses based on properties like Star Wars and Marvel certainly helps and LEGO might be running if MB owned them, I largely disagree with what you said.
