But still why leave out the other elements also wouldn't it be much more easier to defeat garmadon with 11 ninja with their own mystical elemental powers also why not teach the other descendents to be ninja istead of letting them become huge jerks also think of all the problems wu could of solved by recruiting more ninja to help them like in the first episode think how secure the weapons would of been if they where eleven ninja to protect them griffen turner could of stopped so many bad guys before they could blink

My theory is that there were just four basic elements (so there would only need to be four golden weapons) and then others branched of of those.

Lightning-speed

Fire-light

Earth-plants

Earth-metel

Etc.

so wu still left many people with powers un trained for no reason

How do you know wu even knew they existed?

his brother clearly did and when kai asks why did they did not tell them garmadon says "we did not want you to know" meaning wu did know

I think it's a plot that whole lego missed

but it is sort of iritating that this throws the entire ninjago lore off track nearly as much as when was garmadon sent back if wu was young at the time but lloyd is madee out to be ten

You know, it's a bit strange that Zane has powers, as, being a robot, it is impossible for him to be related to a guardian; unless Dr. Julien was one and somehow transferred his powers to Zane. Also, Garmadon hinted that Nya could have powers, which means 2 ninjas of fire; and Kai and Nya's father was Wu's friend...did he have abilities too?

That may sound unlikely, But maybe Nya has a elemental power she hasn't discovered yet.

1 i think zanes power source has a factor in his power 2 if nya had powers why did no one tell her to discover what it is 3 if she has powers it is most likely fire like her brother unless they are two elemental masters in their blood 4 am i the only one thinking that ninjagos history is much shorter than first believed

No you're not. I've been wondering about that too; my theory is that Wu and Garmadon are an average age; and if they are older than average, then would that mean that their kids might lead a longer than average life? This reminds me of the Silmarillion's and The Lord Of The Ring's Numenoreans. And I do think that Nya's element would be fire; and now that Garmadon has hinted that Nya might have an elemental power LEGO will be forced to give her one (as stated above, probably fire).
