Also lions (bb0787c04pb01, bb0787c04pb02 and bb0787c01pb05), a black panther (bb0787c01pb01), a mountain lion/puma (bb0787c01pb04) and Parce the Jaguar from Encanto (bb1256pb02).
There should at least be a second blind bag series with conventional minifigs before the theme ends. The K'Nex figures were a great licensed option for years but felt more like minidolls. Sure hope Nintendo won't mind losing the electronics.
The Jazz Quartet looks brilliant, but to pick them over the likes of the castles, the Forth Bridge, the Double Helix, the Ancient Greek Temple, Marine Life, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or even the Asterix and Obelix busts? Good thing they're considering Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for another review.
Regarding The Office, all I can say is this: if The LEGO Group were Israeli, I could see them rejecting the Azrieli Towers or Montefiore Windmill for a Savri Maranan (Your Family or Mine?) set. Nothing but lost hopes and tripe.

There's an official Minecraft Micro World style Super Mario 64 set?! I was sure it had to be a MOC until I found the article. All the accurate detail brings back so many fond memories of playing the game (via Project64) and watching hilarious videos produced with it. They even made sure to put Yoshi and the Lakitu Bro. on Peach's Castle. Only the Warp Pipe should've perhaps been Part 95343, and Mario could've had a better design.
This may be very unlikely and near impossible, but I've still been wanting to ask about it. Are there any official (medium-advanced) LEGO sets you've built enough times to memorize the instructions for, to the point where you don't need to use them (except for corrections/tricky steps)? Polybag, Duplo, 4-Juniors or other very simple releases don't count.
All of these would be great choices, but I voted Union Pacific (for the same reason). GWR doesn't fit on a poll that's US/Canada inclined.
Yes (both the original and the sequel). I've never played either of them, but HD remakes could be even more awesome.
There are a plenty of decent new third party trains that fill in some gaps left by the LEGO Group, but it's still better than the other choices. Sets like 10020 and 10133 were really nice for official products back then.
@Toa Kopaka Nuva They're two different parts. Bricklink told me both were available in yellow in 12 Aquazone sets (6042 in seven, 6043 in five, plus one Time Cruisers set).
The top one is part #6042 and the bottom one is #6043.
I always thought Power Miners had awesome sets with really good play value. If I remember correctly, they were even some of my first few System sets that weren't Creator Basic.
I should've predicted this after the improved ISS set was made. Another really nice improvement over 7470, which now looks fairly primitive. I wonder if it will still have the Canadarm and/or landing gear in addition to the display stand(s). Definitely makes up for the Ideas UCS Atlantis being rejected, as awesome as it was.
Toy Story, The Incredibles, Cars, WALL·E and Brave have all been licensed and Ratatouille almost got an Ideas set, so there should be a new theme based on remaining Pixar properties. Monsters Inc./University, Up, Finding Nemo/Dory, Ownard and Inside Out were missed opportunities IMO.
If only the LEGO Group didn't wait 21 years before reintroducing them as minifigs. Pooh would've looked better with a smaller head like the original design (by Ben Alder), but the unique moulds are very welcome. I hope both him and Tigger/Piglet will reappear in Disney Series 3.
I always thought the only reason/s for TLG to exclude her (seemingly) on purpose had to do with political correctness and historical inaccuracy, given there are no issues with Moana and Tiana according to them. She should at least get a minidoll in a set like 41162 in 2025 (30th anniversary).

Wait.. They're going to release this? It's not the first time I supported an Ideas project that got approved afterwards, but it's still rewarding to know how much LEGO and SEGA loved it. Congratulations to Toastergrl for hitting 10,000 and passing the review. I hope the minifig will use the Dimensions headpiece in the final version as well (provided the mould still exists).
I don't recall seeing these before. Do the studs happen to work with real parts, by any chance? They look too flat, so I somewhat doubt it. Makes me wonder if there's any similar footwear in AFOL sizes.
