Remember, NO Fantastic Four equals NO Black Panther, NO Kree, NO Skrulls, NO Watchers, and NO Inhumans.

Umm... Kree, Black Panther and Inhumans are all in the game...

Which means the FF are in the game as well. Those characters wouldn't exist if not for the FF.

It's not that simple. And how is black panther tied to fantastic four? And it has to do with the fox embargo. Fox has the rights to fantastic four and x-men as well as other things, but that doesn't mean they have the rights to the kree and inhumans, even though the Kree first appeared in a fantastic four comic. Same with the skrulls. And the Watchers (Fox just owns the right to Uatu)

It's not that cut and dry and they haven't specifically said the reason they aren't in is because of the embargo but... I mean that's basically what it is

You own the Fantastic Four, you own all the characters tied to them. And this isn't about movie rights!

I mean yes. Marvel owns the base rights to the characters but are choosing not to use them in their games.

Marvel Contest of Champions? Marvel Puzzle Quest? Marvel Future Fight? Marvel Avengers Academy?

Contest of Champions and Puzzle Quest were from before the embargo so they do whatever. Marvel Future Fight for the longest time didn't have x-men and avengers academy didn't have x-men at first either.

That means Marvel's grown a spine and is using characters that rightfully belong to them. And what embargo are we talking about?

Basically what fans called the process where marvel was phasing the fox properties out of their stuff

Fans must've been seriously deluded to think that.

I mean, it's something that happened. Fox content started dissapearing from games, their comic versions were being killed off... While sony and disney properties were untouched.
