<p>GOTG are part of the mcu (but in the game they are not the movie versions because they don't know what the real minifigs will look like), Electro is the ultimate comics version which is the what the movie version is semi-based on. And i know about the usm sets, but I was saying that LEGO only makes marvel MOVIE sets that are based on the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE movies. </p>

<p>The movie isn't out for 2 years, and they haven't even started filming yet (let alone promote it). Plus there is at least a dozen characters in Thor 2, Cap 2 and GOTG that aren't in the game. So really they would promote those characters first (but they aren't). </p>
