Hm. I honestly don’t remember. I think I randomly watched the pilot episodes on Netflix a few years ago, with my little brother. And then somehow I got into the show.

Yeah I’m not a fan of the new look either. But like I said before, they still have their personalities.
I actually thought the humor in Season 12 was awesome. I haven’t seen all of 11 or 13 yet though so don’t know.
And what do you mean by childish? If you mean kid-friendly that’s because it’s Lego, and honestly, I think that gives it a certain charm.

The movie is not trash, it’s gold! It may be nothing like the show but it’s absolutely hilarious!!
Also, I liked the original designs better for the show. The newer version is only good because they’ve kept the integrity of the characters (personality-wise)
