I sure hope it's not Brainiac, I have about 3 customs as it is.
No, it's using cartoons. The sets this year are from Avengers Assemble, only the X-Men set is from the comics.
Sorry to mini-mod, but shouldn't we get back on topic?
Those GOTG sets looks awesome, although I kinda wish we got a big-fig Groot.

People who say that forget that the internet itself is often unreliable.
Never said it wasn't. The internet IS Unreliable.
Wikipedia is extremely unreliable. .-.
GOTG= Guardians Of the Galaxy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an48NW2ni_o Whoever and wherever this kid is, he got the steamroller set.
Yokey25 wrote: One flaw. Mavel/Disney has those merchandising rights, not LEGO. Plus as I said I`m pretty sure the CC Exclusive Spider-Man was a comic variant.
Actually, no it was from the ASM2, but like I said Lego would have needed permission and a contract would have been signed.
Marvel Legends wrote: Actually, you're both wrong. Marvel/Disney recently made a deal with Sony. The deal was that Marvel/Disney got the merchandising rights to Spider-Man(And, something else was said, but I forgot). And how do you think this SDCC Comic-Con Exclusive was made? They did this illegally? No. They could've made some EPIC sets. I mean, have you seen the trailer? I have an idea for, like, 8 sets already. But for some reason, they wasted it on some Comic-Con Exclusive. Go figure.
Actually, I'm still right. As Marvel/Disney DOES have the merch rights, they still need to sign with SONY. Everything being sold at Disney Stores Amazing Spider-Man related must go through SONY first. Lego would have needed permission from SONY for the SDCC figure to be made. And I hope you know, ComicBookMovie is an illegitimate source and most of what they post is immature and incorrect and just plain stupid.
They can't. They must sign a contract with SONY (SONY owns Spider-Man movies) first and I doubt Lego would want to go through all the trouble.

The comic version from Lego Marvel Superheroes, it's based on Avengers Assemble.

I'll share my thoughts in a minute. :)
Great Find. Wake me if we get more DC this summer, otherwise I might just sleep til next year.
You don't like the DC sets? I know it's you're opinion, but can I ask why?

My Thoughts (these are serious thoughts expressed in an unserious way)
Spider-Trike: I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! Doc Ock: I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! Spider-Copter: I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! Captain America Set: I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! Lab: I DON'T CARE! I LOVE IT! Lol, no really, they all have some flaws but I really like them.
LukeDocker99 wrote: That Captain America figure is based off of the classic suit in Lego Marvel Superheroes: The Video Game.
And the comic suit is based on Avengers Assemble.

RyanMan1414 wrote: Wait.....If they are ending the spiderman tv show then most likely 2015 will be the last year we get spiderman sets
It's not ending. Spider-Man just won't have his team. It will likely end after 4 seasons. So most likely 2016, MAYBE 2017.
