The meme is not entirety accurate as:
Gambling is like tossing a dice in the air (never can you guess the outcome)
With mystery bags you can feel them and make a good guess of what you'll get pretty easily, and you get better at it with time to the point you'll always get the figure you want.
The meme is still pretty funny though.
Enjoy!
You can read all about it here on Brickepedia https://brickipedia.fandom.com/wiki/Hero_Factory or go to Heropedia and read all about the theme there.
Ninjago and Nexo Knights are very similar in the level of story telling and lore. Chima on the other hand was very lighthearted and fun, with enough story sprinkled in older people could enjoy it. The similarity between Ninjago and Nexo Knights is partly because Nexo Knights was supposed to replace Ninjago and therefore LEGO used Ninjago as a marketing model for Nexo Knights.
Galidor and stuff like G2 Bionicle was ended so fast its hard to say and compare it to themes that lasted longer as we don't know where the story was really going.
There is so much to discuss on the subject of LEGO themes and their lore, I'm barely touching the surface, haven't even mentioned Elves, Hero Factory, and plenty more themes.
Bionicle had lore like no other theme LEGO has ever done, it had comics, graphic novels, tons of games, and so much more, the complexity and amazing story telling (Thanks Greg) allowed the theme to amass fans from all age ranges. Most Lego themes now have very little lore and media that will attract older people, mainly I'd just say now LEGO has drawn a very clear line of what will be for the younger and older audiences.
Ninjago has had so many soft reboots and changes I lost a lot of interest, the overall lore all the way up to WildBrain's takeover was great, after that stuff stopped making sense.
Hopefully, someday LEGO will go all out on a theme like they did with Bionicle.
I think its a bad idea.
Well, long list here, Star Wars the complete saga, Indiana Jones, Star Wars Clone Wars, Lego Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Caribbean these are all on my Wii. Now for Xbox, Lego Worlds, Lego Ninjago Movie video game, Hobbit, Harry Potter years 1-3, and finally the Lego Movie 1 and 2 video games. There are more l have but since i didn't play them much I'm not even counting them.
My favorite would be Star Wars the clone wars so that would be my pick if i could only have one.
I wish I had someone to play Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars with :(
Tahu of course
Torso of course..which has no option.. oh well..
Very well done, my favorite part is the head
I only get sets that I really want, its "worth" is really just based on how much you want it. If you cant decide for yourself, I'd hold back from purchasing.
I'm a sucker for The Hobbit
Galidor wasnt that bad...
I would like if Lego introduced Moralo Eval in minifigure form
It's odd, but as a major Lego fan it doesn't even appeal to me, even though it literally is a Lego movie.
I got a $100-$80 LOTR Cave Troll at a goodwill outlet store for less than a quarter. I pick LEGO up at thrift stores quite often, and I've gotten some of the best deals ever from them.
Picrelated is Cave Troll:
Sand green if that counts
What is that? The griddy? lol
I think it would have been a very good idea, it certainly would have helped to appeal Lego dimensions to girls more, and Lego in general.
