the great thing about the story for the first game was that it used so many iconic locations in the open world, and it had so many classic aspects of the Marvel Universe. What story could possibly top that?

i think they should just go with the Justice League for the title already. the main hub can be Gotham and Metropolis (with the Batcave and Hall of Justice as home bases)
