1497 Pitstop and Crew is a Town set released in 1987 as part of the Race line. It contains a pitstop with two minifigures, a car and several equipment parts. It was also part of 1509 Town Value Pack.

- On this set's box art, one of the minifigure's legs is backwards, making him appear to be kneeling. This sitting position was later used by one of the knights in 6044 King's Carriage.
