1789 Star Hawk II is a Unitron set released in 1995. Like all Unitron starcraft, it had a cockpit pod that could detach from the primary hull and be attached to other Unitron vehicles. This was one of only four Unitron Sets released and the only large spacecraft, making it the Unitron Flagship.
Description
The Star Hawk II (oddly named because there is no Star Hawk I), is one of the medium size Unitron sets, even though it is a large set for its time. It is roughly circular in shape, with a large turbo-thruster in back. It has multiple lasers, two of them able to rotate up and down. They can be hidden by two compartements. It has four smaller thrusters on the bottom. The cockpit is in the middle of the ship, and can be removed. The Star Hawk II can stand in an upright position. To minifigure were included, a Unitron Soldier and a Uniton Sector Cheif.
Background
The Unitron were one of the "Good Guy" races in the Lego Space, they were much more militant then the previous Space Police. To defend themselves from Spyrius (the then current "Bad Guy" race, Unitron astronauts piloted spaceships filled with weapons.
Notes
- This is one of the two sets in which Part 2582 is Trans Blue.
