2181 Infomaniac is a Promotional Town set that was released in 1997. It was included with some copies of the 5731 LEGO Island CD-ROM video game in the United States. The set solely featured a LEGO minifigure of the original Infomaniac.
Notes[]
- This was the first minifigure designed outside of the LEGO Group, as instead it was designed by Wes Jenkins, the creative director of the first LEGO Island game.[1]
- This set was never released seperately, only with some copies of the original LEGO Island game.
- A later version of this minifigure would be made for the theme Island Xtreme Stunts.
