2586 LEGO Chess Promotional Set is a Castle promotional set released in 1998. It was bundled with original copies of the PC game, 5702 LEGO Chess. It contains a king minifigure on a throne. It also features a chrome silver crystal.

- The king's torso piece made its first appearance in this set, but became more well-known as the torso used for John of Mayne in the Knights' Kingdom theme from 2000.
