2586 LEGO Chess Promotional Set was a promotional set that was released in 1998. It was bundled with the computer game 5702 LEGO Chess and contained a king minifigure on a throne. It also featured a silver crystal.

Notes

The king's torso piece made its first appearance in this set, but became more well-known as part of King Leo's knights in the Knights' Kingdom theme from 2000.
