The frame is built on an 8 x 8 Lavender plate. Two 1 x 2 Bright Yellow bricks are placed in two corners, parallel to each other. Between them are three 2 x 2 Bright Yellow inverted roof tiles. On top of that row is an Earth Blue 2 x 8 plate. Extending along the side is two Bright Yellow 2 x 2 inverted plates and a normal 1 x 2 Bright Yellow brick, paralleled on the other side. On the final side is three Bright Yellow 2 x 2 inverted bricks. This should form a square structure made up of yellow bricks with an Earth Blue plate topping one side.
The Yellow bricks are topped by another 2 x 8 Earth Blue plate across from the other one. On each side is a 2 x 4 Earth Blue plate. This makes a yellow structure completely covered on the edges with Earth Blue plates. The structure is then flipped over, and two White 2 x 3 plates with shafts are placed in two corners, parallel to one another. Each one has a 1 x 2 White plate with holders attached to 1 x 2 Lavender plates with bows, which are then attached to the plates with shafts.
Included are 16 Aqua 1/4 circle tiles, 16 Bright Purple 1/4 circle tiles, 4 Bright Yellow stud tiles, 16 Lavender 1/4 circle tiles, and 8 Light Purple stud tiles. They do not need to be attached in any specific way, and the builder can create their own design on the picture frame.
- The polybag was released in March 2020 as a promotional offer on the LEGO Shop to launch the DOTS theme.
