3177 Small Car was released in December 2009 / January 2010 as part of the City transportation sub-theme. The small car very much resembles a Smart Fortwo and it is very similar to a white car in 7939 Cargo Train. It has a trunk that can fit a briefcase; hence why you get a briefcase in the set.
Description[]
The Minifigure has a short, tousled hairpiece, a face very similar to the face from the 7246 Mini Digger, a white and blue sweatshirt and green trousers, plus a suitcase accessory.

- This car can be found in blue and white in the set 7939 Cargo Train.
- This set is the basis for Emmet's Car in The LEGO Movie.
- It is contained in 66345 City Super Pack and 66362 City Super Pack 4 in 1.
Films[]
- In the Warner Bros. The Lego Movie franchise, the minifigure from the set makes a cameo when he enters The Coffee Chain while being followed by Emmet Brickowski. He also appears in The Lego Batman Movie with Medium Nougat or Nougat skin color instead of yellow. He also makes an appearance in The Lego Ninjago Movie in some clips. In The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, when he hears the Duplo Aliens screaming, he jumps in one of the Bricksburg Citizens' arms without covering his ears.
