40469 Tuk Tuk is a Creator set that was released on January 2, 2021.

Background[]

An auto rickshaw, often referred to as a tuk tuk, is a motor vehicle based on non-motorized versions of a rickshaw. Tuk tuks are often used for personal or public transportation within urban areas, popular in Asian regions.

40469 was designed by James May, the designer's first model after an absence from the company. The vehicle was designed with a diverse color scheme in mind, with care being taken to provide cohesion. The implied lunch boxes on the vehicle's roof were intended to depict the tuk tuk as being used for delivery. The model is not designed with minifigures in mind.[1]
