42078 Mack Anthem is a TECHNIC set that will be released in 2018. It is the first TECHNIC set to be licensed by Mack. The A-model is based off of the Mack Anthem semi truck, the B-model is based off of the Mack LR. Unlike other bigger TECHNIC sets, it does not feature power functions, as all functions are operated by hand. It also features a different engine, as it uses simpler pieces such as pin joiners, and half pins with stud. While other TECHNIC sets use engine pieces and piston heads. The A-model has a detachable trailer, the detachable trailer holds a shipping container.
The B-model has lifting arms, and tipping front forks, it also has an opening tailgate and a waste ejector. [1]
