4888 Ocean Odyssey, released in the United Kingdom as 4888 Sea Explorers,[1] is a Designer Set released in 2005. It includes an instruction booklet to make several submarines.
Background[]
In the November-December 2005 LEGO Magazine comic Hectic Holidays!, the largest submarine is featured as the USS Ocean Odyssey under the command of Captain James. Four months after the Dino Attack began, the USS Ocean Odyssey is stationed near the city to monitor the battle against the mutant dinosaurs. The submarine's crew launch electro-magnetic disruptors to help the T-1 Typhoon capture a Raptor.[2]
In the Atlantis theme, the largest submarine appears wrecked on the seafloor in various media, including The Atlantis Movie and one of the online wallpapers.
