Description[]
The Oasis Ambush is mainly a burial chamber adorned with a small statue of the Egyptian god, Anubis. The statue lays on a platform that can be lifted by pulling the spear down to reveal treasure. Below the statue are hieroglyphics. A palm tree is also included.
It includes 3 minifigures: Johnny Thunder, Slyboots, and Pharaoh Skeleton. Accessories include a rifle, pistol, a map, and a brown spear connected to a chain on the statue. A black scorpion can also be found with gold coins under the statue.

This ancient burial chamber is guarded by a Pharaoh Skeleton, who tries warding off Johnny Thunder and Slyboots to prevent them from claiming the tomb's golden coins.
In 5542644 Die Jagd nach dem Pharaonenschatz, Joe Freemann, Professor Articus, and Linda Lovely follow a map with Anubis's face and find a jackal-marked tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Inside, they find a coffin with a stone jackal statue, and they pull a spear with a chain to open the coffin and find the third papyrus map inside. Joe is nearly trapped inside the coffin when it shuts and the chain breaks, but he jumps out at the last second. They exit the tomb with the map, which is marked with the face of Thoth and leads them to the sphinx.
