6240 Kraken Attackin' is a Pirates set released in 2009. It contains 78 pieces, which includes two Pirates and Brickbeard's Parrot.

Description[]

The musket rifle with the conical end can be clipped onto the side of the crow's nest. The Kraken appears in other LEGO ocean-related sets; there is a black version in the Harry Potter set 4762 Rescue from the Merpeople. There are two red and blue crystals in the storage container. The ship can float but there is a large hollow space in the hull of the ship.

These pirates and their parrot have built a raft and set to sea with a booty of gems. But now they’re under attack by a legendary sea monster! Can they save the treasure and get away?

Captain Brickbeard did not appear in this set, yet his parrot did.
One of the pirates from this set is seen in The LEGO Movie and is later revealed to be MetalBeard's father.
It is contained in 66309 Pirates Value Pack and K6243 Big Pirates Collection.
