6256 Islander Catamaran is a Pirates set released in 1994. It contains a catamaran with two islanders and a crocodile.
Description
The two included minifigures are King Kahuka and a female islander. The only weapons they carry are three spears. King Kahuka also has his sceptre. On board is also a drum with one of the rare zebra-striped drumheads. There are also two parrots which could just represent ornaments.
Notes
- The only other set that contained the triangular islander sail was 6278 Enchanted Island (and also its rerelease)
- Catamarans are usually only typical for Polynesian cultures of the South Pacific and not for the Caribean Sea which would be the usual setting for pirates stories.
