6257 Castaway's Raft, also known as Shipwrecked in the UK,[2] is a Pirates set designed by Niels Milan Pedersen[3] and released in 1989. The set contains a raft manned by three pirates, and a dark-grey shark.
Description
- Raft
The main part of the set is a raft. This has a 4×12×1/3 baseplate with two circular beams going along the side, the foremost being barrels with lids. A small mast goes up from the middle of the raft, and a spar with four white flag connects onto that.
- Minifigures
The set has three minifigures, all pirates.
- Accessories
The accessories in the set include two flintlock pistols, two cutlasses, a map, and a musket with a pirate flag on it.
Notes
- This was one of the first four Pirates sets, as well as the second seagoing vessel, the first being Black Seas Barracuda.
