6355 Derby Trotter is a Town themed set released in 1989. It contains a horse stable, a horse with a sulky and one minifigure.

- This set was the very first to contain a brown horse with black mane. This variation did not appear in any other sets until 1992.
- The riding hats are actually black versions of the red, blue, and white hard hats used by construction worker minifigs.
