6371 Service Station is a Town themed set released in 1983. It contains a Shell petrol station with two gas pumps, a tow truck, a car, a motorcycle, and three minifigs.

  • The gas station stands on a unique baseplate that was only available in this set.
  • The building contains a cash register. Next to it is a repair shop with a service lift.
  • A version of this set featuring Exxon branding was designed for the United States market (where the Shell branding was not used), and it appeared in various catalogue dioramas but it was never officially released.
  • This is one of only four sets to include Part x473, a clear, unprinted motorcycle windshield.
  • 6371 was one of the few Classic Town sets to make use of TECHNIC elements in its construction - Technic beams are used extensively in the construction of the canopy.
  • The set only ran for three seasons between 1983 and 1985, before being replaced by 6378 Service Station in 1986, making it one of the shortest lived "large" sets in Classic Town history.
