6780 XT Starship is a Classic Space set released in 1986. It contains a Spaceship and an Astronaut minifigure. It also features light and sound pieces.
Description
This was one of the last sets of Classic Space and its release coincided with the introduction of Futuron. It already has the Futuron colorscheme but still includes a minifigure with the old uniform and a visorless helmet.
The cockpit section could be detached from the aft section and could be combined with a smaller drive module usually stored in middle, to form a smaller spaceship.
Together with 6750 Sonic Robot and 6783 Sonar Transmitting Cruiser, this was the first Space set that included a 9V block and Light & Sound bricks.
