6836 V-Wing Fighter is a UFO set released in 1997. It contains 39 pieces, building a spacecraft piloted by Andy Droid.
Description[]
The V-Wing Fighter is a small UFO land vehicle. The pilot sits in an open seat with two joysticks and a control panel. In front of him are three lasers, one directly in front of the cockpit and one on either side of the first. The vehicle has three thrusters: one in the center and two on the wings. It also has two wings, shaped like a "V" when viewed from the front. The V-Wing Fighter also has a tailfin emblazoned with the UFO logo.
Notes[]
- This set has the same name as a Star Wars spacecraft which was also released as a LEGO set (6205 V-Wing Fighter). However, the UFO set was released nearly a decade before the Star Wars vessel was designed, as well as two years before the Star Wars theme was even licensed, so the name is purely coincidental.
- Part 30118px1 was in only two UFO sets.
- This set was included in the Product Collections set 54 U.F.O.Action-Pack.
- This set was named "XHyper" when included in bundle VP-5 UFO Value Pack.
