6927 All-Terrain Vehicle is a Classic Space set released in 1981. It contains a wheeled ground vehicle, a small outpost and two Classic Space astronauts (red and white) with the classic helmets.
Description
The ground vehicle is actually a transporter for the outpost. The module can be stored in a recess at the aft of the truck. Two clamps (with rocket engines attached) at the rear hold the module in place and lift it a few milimeters above the ground for easier transport. When the clamps are released the module is lowered to the ground.
The outpost itself contains a swivel chair and several computer monitors. The module is open to the rear and its roof can be folded back to provide additional access to the interior.
Notes
- This is one of three sets in which Part 3066 is trans blue.
- This is the only set in which Part 3855 is trans yellow.
- This is one of three sets in which Part 4228 is trans blue.
