697 Idea Book is an Idea book released in 1997. It give tips and ideas of how to make alternative models for LEGO sets around the 1990's. Unlike some LEGO idea books, this one includes a varity of stickers seen on several LEGO sets.

The alternative models shown in the book include pieces from Islanders, Pirates, Imperial Armada, Imperial Guards, Royal Knights, Aquasharks, Aquanauts, Spyrius & Exploriens. Curiously, other themes released around the same time such as Unitron and Dark Forest are completely ignored.
