70505 Temple of Light is a Ninjago set to be released in 2013. It resembles a dojo and has two circular tower-like structures, topped with golden mini-dragons. The temple also features a holder for the four golden swords, the Ninjago collectible of 2013. Also included in the set is a mech for the Golden Ninja. It includes Lloyd Garmadon, Sensei Wu, a few Stone Warriors, and the Overlord in Lord Garmadon's body.^[source?]

Background

The Temple of Light is the place where The Golden Weapons were forged. It lays hidden in the Dark Island and is the only place the ninjas can reach their genuine elemental powers in order to power up Lloyd, so he would be capable of defeating the Stone Army. Lloyd finds it in the mountains of the Island of Darkness. All the ninjas then get new suits and elemental weapons making them able to defeat the Stone Army.

The Golden Mech was used by the first Spinjitzu Master to fight the Overlord, then stored in the Temple of Light. The ninja found it the second time they went to the temple; they plugged their elemental blades into slots, the floor opened and the mech came out. Lloyd used the mech to fly back to Ninjago, where he fought the Stone Army with it, but it was then destroyed by evil Nya.
