- This version of Nya also appears in 70618 Destiny's Bounty, while a version with a hair piece instead of a hood comes with 70617 Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon.
- This version of Kai is identical to that found in 10739 Shark Attack, 70606 Spinjitzu Training, and 70618. Kai also appears without his scabbard in 70615 Fire Mech, while versions with hair instead of a hood appear in 70608 Master Falls, 70617, and 70629 Piranha Attack.
- An identical Shark Army Thug appears in 70616 Ice Tank, while other versions appear in 70607 Ninjago City Chase, 70614 Lightning Jet, 70629, and 70656 Garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON!.
