71012 Disney Series 1 is the 18th wave in the Collectible Minifigures series released in May 2016.

Description[]

Each minifigure was sold individually in opaque polybags and came with a selection of accessories, a black display stand, and a paper checklist. The packaging was intended to make the minifigure a person bought random.

This is the first series to have 18 Minifigures.
Unlike the other series (especially The Simpsons), this is the only Minifigures series that does not feature yellow-skinned figures.
This Minifigures series has a gender ratio of 1:2.
Little Green Man and Buzz Lightyear are the only Disney characters in this series that were originally from the Toy Story theme.
Aladdin, Ariel, Maleficent and Ursula are the only Disney Princess mini-dolls that have been made as minifigures.
Alice, Cheshire Cat, Genie, Stitch and Syndrome are all exclusive to this series.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Captain Hook and Peter Pan originally appeared as a DUPLO Figure before they were made as minifigures.
Syndrome is the only physical minifigure from this series who appears in LEGO The Incredibles despite him not appearing in any Juniors The Incredibles sets.
