The highest and most challenging area is the ‘bridge’: a red 2×16 plate supported by two grey platforms. The way to traverse this is the brownish, sliding platform around the plate. As Mario is scanning its action tile, a dramatic song plays and he collects some coins, especially when the platform shifts directions, and multiple shifts applies a score multiplier. The challenge lies in keeping Mario on the tile while sliding the platform from one end to the other, as falling off of it shall stun him and prevent him from collecting coins for a few seconds.
Another area is a red 6×6 node with a rotatable grey plate and a stable grey plate holding a podoboo. The rotatable plate supports a green Koopa shell, hanging on by a black brick, and rotating this plate will knock out the podoboo on the other nearby, and Mario can scan its tile for one coin. Finally, there is another red 6×6 node for Whomp to stand, guarding a P Switch between its grey feet. To defeat it, Mario has to knock it over to easily access the action tile on its back, then scan it a half dozen times to defeat it, granting him a half dozen coins. He can also scan the P Switch that was between its feet, playing a cheery song from Super Mario Bros. 3 and granting Mario the ability to gain coins for every three ‘steps’ that he takes for the duration of approximately one dozen seconds.
