Background[]

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

Created as an apparent replacement to the Destiny's Bounty 4.0, the new Destiny's Bounty was first known to have been used by Lloyd, Arin, Sora, and Riyu to travel to the Land of Three Mountains in search of Riyu's dragon herd. The vehicle was incomplete at the time, but Sora was able to make it functional using her mechanic's skills. It was then attacked by Imperium Claw Hunters shortly after locating Riyu's herd but saved from a crash by the Dragon Matriarch. The craft was later used again in "Beyond Madness", with Lloyd's team using it to go in search of Kai after the Bounty 4.0-which he had previously been traveling on-returned to the Monastery of Spinjitzu badly damaged and without any pilot.

In "Writers of Destiny", the Bounty runs into the Cloud Kingdom on its way back to the monastery and takes part in action there against several monsters emerging from MergeQuake rifts. In "Gangs of the Sea", Lloyd and Arin decide to take the Bounty as they set out for the Mother Garden to find one of the Dragon Energy Cores.

In "They Call It Doom", the Bounty arrives at the Mother Garden, and Arin and Lloyd set out in search of the core. In "The Administration", the pair and Zane board the craft again to return to the monastery, and then-joined by Kai and Wyldfyre-use it to travel to Imperium. In "The Power Within", the Ninja use it to travel from Imperium to the Crossroads during the MergeQuake storm, with Zanth growing to giant size in order to help carry the vessel through the tumult.

Spoilers end here.
