There are two planes in the set, a bi-winged white one, and a grey one. The white one has got black bars to hold up the wings, and a red tail with a stripe continuing partly down the plane. The tail can also come off. The other plane is grey, and it has two guns tucked in under the wings. When the back glass is pushed down, the wings fall out.
7198 is printed four times on the German plane, the same number as the set's ID number.
In the film, the German Pilatus P-2 fighters had a Swastika prominently emblazoned on the tail. Like with all of the classic Indiana Jones sets, TLG likely chose not to include any specifically Nazi-related symbols due to oversensitive parents, especially in Germany, one of their primary markets.
