Background[]
The AT-TE, or All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, was a vehicle used by the Grand Army of the Republic, the Rebel Alliance, the Restored Empire and the Imperial Army in it's,early days. It had a crew of 7, with one pilot, one spotter, and 5 gunners. They had electromagnetic shielding, making them impervious to ion attacks, and magnetized feet, making them useful even in space combat, where at one time they ambushed a Seperatist fleet by hiding on asteroids. They had a large mass-driver cannon on the top that could fire different types of ammunition depending on the circumstances, with a long range but slow rate of fire and variable accuracy. They also had six laser cannons, four protecting the cockpit and two in the back covering retreating troopers. It was not invincible, due to soft spots on the underbelly, and could be taking out with a direct shot from a Hailfire Droid's rockets.
Notes[]
- A new moulded part is used, the 1x2 plate with vertical side clip.
- It includes a brick separator.
- Strangely, Coleman Trebor is exclusive to this set.
- In the movie, Coleman Trebor is killed before the AT-TEs and clones arrive.
- With a few modifications, this set can be also lifted by 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT, similar too 7675 AT-TE.
- The inclusion of Mace Windu would suggest that the Clone Commander in this set is Commander Ponds.
