76898 Formula E Panasonic Jaguar Racing GEN2 Car & Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY is a Speed Champions set that was released on January 2, 2020.

Background[]

The Formula E Gen 2 EVO is an electric racing car concept that was unveiled by Jaguar Racing in 2020 in preparation for the 2020-2021 Formula E season. The vehicle features a sixth-generation livery and a wide range of structural changes compared to previous Jaguar cars, including a new front wing, 10-15% more downforce, and up to 10% less drag.

The Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy was a battery electric zero-emission international motor racing series supporting the FIA Formula E Championship which ran two seasons from late 2018 to mid 2020. The series would be cancelled after the 2019–20 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The eTrophy saw entrants compete in a race-prepared Jaguar I-Pace, also bearing the same name as the series, with the races taking place on selected Formula E weekends.
