The set 7753 Pirate Tank was released on August 1, 2009, as part of the third wave of the LEGO Star Wars The Clone Wars line. Included is Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars), Hondo Ohnaka, and Turk Falso minifigures.

Description[]

The set is based on the tank the pirates used in the episode "The Gungan General" and more recently in the episode "Bounty Hunters".

The Tank features two flick-fire missiles near the front, a storage compartment in the rear, and a center-mounted cannon turret.

Background[]

The Pirate Tanks were used by Hondo Ohnaka and his crew and were used to scare off other species as well as destroy other vehicles and buildings. Anakin Skywalker was nearly hit by the firepower from one Pirate Tank.
