7866 Remote Controlled Road Crossing 12V is a Trains set released in 1983. It contains 191 pieces to construct a railroad crossing and a minifigure.

The set uses point motors as used in the sets 7563 / 7858 and 7589 to operate the road barriers. The wiring in order to make the set work properly is somewhat complicated, with an electronic flasher unit which attaches onto the remote control to operate the flashing lights.

7866 remains one of the rarest, and consequently most valuable of all 12V Trains sets.
